These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CAPT Chrome Extension and related services ("Service") provided by CAPT ("we", "our", or "us"). By installing or using CAPT, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptable Use

1.1 B2B Use Only

CAPT is designed exclusively for business-to-business (B2B) prospecting. You may use CAPT to collect professional email addresses from publicly accessible business websites, company directories, and professional pages.

You must not use CAPT to:

  • Collect personal email addresses of private individuals (B2C)
  • Harvest emails from social media profiles, forums, or personal blogs for unsolicited contact
  • Build contact lists targeting consumers or private individuals

1.2 Anti-Spam Policy

CAPT is a tool for building targeted, quality contact lists for legitimate business outreach. You agree not to use CAPT for:

  • Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails or mass marketing messages
  • Deceptive practices: Misleading recipients about the origin or purpose of your communications
  • Automated mass outreach: Using collected contacts with automated tools to send high-volume unsolicited messages
  • Email bombing: Intentionally overloading mailboxes

Any outreach using contacts collected with CAPT must be relevant, personalized, and respectful of the recipient's time.

1.3 Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of CAPT and the contacts you collect comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) - EU/EEA
  • CAN-SPAM Act - United States
  • CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation) - Canada
  • PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) - UK
  • Any other local data protection or anti-spam laws applicable in your jurisdiction
